Great Science Share 2022
The children of Derrychrin participated today in the Great Science Share. They had a blast.
The children’s classrooms have been transformed into hubs of learning as they have become experts in biodiversity, Climate Change Scientists, inventors and creators.
We love sharing all the good practice that the children create.
The theme of this years Science Share was “I wonder.” We discovered the power of imagination, creation and science and really honed in our S.T.E.M skills. All learning was enquiry based. Each class from P4-P7 became researchers, gathered evidence, recorded findings and analysed data. Our investigations then produced educational displays, interactive activities and our very own creations. Most importantly we loved it!
