Odd Socks day took place today in Derrychrin PS to help raise awareness of Kindness/Friendship Week and in conjunction with Anti-bullying week.
Odd Socks Day was a great opportunity to encourage all the children to express themselves and celebrate their individuality and what makes us all unique!
The theme ‘Choose Respect’ calls on everyone to bring an end to all forms of bullying which negatively impacts
millions of young lives.
It is our role to empower children and young people to not resort to bullying, even when we disagree and remind everyone to lead by example, online and offline. Imagine a world where respect and kindness thrives - it’s not just a dream, it’s in the choices we make.
