Many thanks to Danny and Brigid of DMAC Construction (contractors of local development "The Oaks") who visited our school today to carry out the official presentation of, what was their site hut, as an extra storage shed for Derrychrin PS.
The members of our extremely hard-working and successful Eco Schools Council were also presented with a range of new High Visibility vests which we hope will keep our pupils safe in the years ahead.
Danny and all the staff at DMAC Construction have been extremely generous and willing since coming to work in our local community. Through ongoing community initiatives, Brigid and the team have formed strong links with our school and we are extremely grateful for the resources which they have contributed and assistance which they have given on a number of occassions - both man power and mechanically.
We are really excited to welcome back the mural which our pupils created this time last year!! This will act as yet another beautiful feature in the evolution of our playground area.
We hope that we can continue to work closely with all the team at DMAC as they continue to help the Ballinderry community grow!
